Freya FLUX.2 Dev Image Generation

/v1/images/generations

Synchronous image generation for flux-2-dev. The server polls upstream internally and returns image URLs only after success. Clients send one request and wait; do not poll a task API.

This is not the same API as FLUX.2 Pro / Flex (black-forest-labs/flux-2-pro, black-forest-labs/flux-2-flex). Do not reuse Pro/Flex resolution, custom width/height, or local file upload.

  • Client HTTP timeout should be at least 900 seconds (15 minutes)
  • Do not resubmit because the request takes tens of seconds
  • Current response is image URLs only; response_format: "b64_json" is not supported
  • Reference images must be public URLs (http://, https://, or file://). Local files, multipart upload, and Base64 data URIs are rejected
  • Up to 10 reference images via images, image, img_urls, or input_images
  • Requests with reference images on this path are billed as edits
